British India Coins: King George V (1911 - 1936)
King George V was born in 1865 to King Edward VII. King George V ruled India from 1911 - 1936.During this period Copper 1/12 Annas, 1/2 Pice and 1/4 annas were minted and circulated. Copper Nickel 1, 2, 4 and 8 annas were in circulartion. In Silver 2 Anna, 1/4 Rupee, 1/2 Rupee and 1 Rupees were in circulation. 15 Rupee gold coin is also minted and circulated.

King Edward came into power after the death of Queen Victoria. King Edward VII was in power from 1901 to 1910. During this period Copper 1/12 Annas, 1/2 Pice and 1/4 annas were minted and circulated. Copper Nickel 1 anna was in circulartion. In Silver 2 Anna, 1/4 Rupee, 1/2 Rupee and 1 Rupees were in circulation. 15 Rupee gold coin is also minted and circulated.
